About Cave - Caulk Genealogy

We have been working on our family history for several years. Our son and daughter really got things started when they had to do a history project in high school about their genealogy. I had worked on it some when I was younger, but the kids really helped to get things going. We have spent many hours asking family about our roots and also searching many courthouses and libraries. It was so much fun and I think it really helps to bring history alive to see what part your ancestor played in the past. We have many who fought in the Revolutionary War & Civil War. We were able to find their service records & pension records and to see when & where they served. We have several who served in World War II & my husband in Vietnam. I think it is also very interesting to trace our ancestors steps into Kentucky.
I hope you will take time to look around. If you can add to any of my information, I would love to hear from you...information on some of our ancestors have been very hard to find. If you have any corrections or additions, please let me know. If you have any old pictures of any of our ancestors that you would like to share with me, please let me know. I`m always looking for pictures or new information.
I hope you enjoy looking around as much as I have enjoyed putting everything together!

Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.

In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool.
